    S-Video to component cable

    Hello,

I got a new Connect3D ATI x800 GTO VIVO yesterday, and noticed it came with an s-video to component cable.

I have a small Shuttle HTPC in my living room, and was wondering if this cable could be used on any graphics card with an S-Video out, or is it just for newer, or VIVO cards.

If it did work on any, I'd connect my HTPC via component to my LCD TV.

    Many thanks in advance.

Is it just the one component of two? (need to wonder whether it may be input or output only if one.)
    Woohoo now Assistant Manager!

Erm, I think the card only came with one S-video to component adapter.

For a start it will be svideo to composite (phono socket), or id be very surprised if it werent. It will probably on any svideo output, but you may get a black and white picture depending on your tv

It's definitely component, as seen here:

It'd be to connect to a Samsung LCD TV (not arrived yet),
