    Talking Radclocker? overclock 9600pro

Having overclocked my Barton to 2.2Mgz its now time to overclock my 9600 pro, I think its a giga cube version.

What is the best way to overclock, I'm currently using the Omega 2.4.96c drivers. I see theres a Clock Rate Tab I can use to increase Core and Mem speed.

Currenly the core is 391.5 and memory is 297.0
Do I enable clock rate change?

Just take it small steps at a time (5mhz?) and IMHO do RAM first (find it's limit) and then the core. Be sure to test each time to ensure you don't get artifacts, instability etc. You should find you'll get core to between 500mhz and 550mhz while the RAM should get between 330mhz and 380mhz BUT those are rough guides only, you have to find your particular card's limits. When you do find the max stable o/c (inc artifact free) then it's best to step back a notch or two for the long term. You'll get much bigger gains in gaming by o/c'ing your gfx card than anything else! Enjoy.
