no, they just took them for a quick test (3dmark I assume) and came back with the same results. The EVGA cards work a lot better to a point but the sli portion of the 97.02 drivers are still crap and if you reboot after installing the drivers you take an extremelly large performance hit on the cards in single or SLi. Guess I just have to wait for Nvidia to get their fingers out and release a new driver revision.

If you notice no performance issues in game it could be that the card's are not entering into 3d-performance mode and not adjusting their clocks accordingly.
To address temperature issues too, try downloading rivatuner and running the monitor in the background, this way you will be able to monitor the temperature and see if it is entering the correct clock mode.
