I was thinking of getting the dell 2407WFP 24" widescreen but should I opt for a smaller cheaper monitor like a 20.1" or 22" and another 17" monitor in dual configuration?
My current video card is BFG 7800 gt
Thanks

if going dual monitors, try and get a matched pair, its better for your eyes n stuff.. you can probably get a pair of niceish 19" monitors.. depends what you use the pc for. if mostly gaming and movies, a single monitor.. if mostly work/net browsing, dual has a definate advantage

Unless you're working with high res photos or something similar, get 2 20.1's. You'll love them.
I would get either:
-1 Big + 1 Small
-2 x Medium
-1 enormous
Once you have used dual monitor - It takes some time to revert back to one.
They are exceedingly handy - I recommend most people to get one.
Unless you just browse the web/play games/watch movies.
If you do anything else with your PC (especially photoshop) then dual-monitor is great for time saving.
Have you had numerous windows open, and flicking between them - Continally clicking the taskbar to find them?
Dual-Monitor will help a lot.
You already have a 17"?
If so - I'd go for the biggest you can afford. Use the 17" as a secondary.
OK - Having them both at the same resolution is the ideal situation... But the bigger monitor will be beter for games/video so worthwhile over 2 x 17".

Not a great pic by any means... (And the body is fabulous...)
EDIT - I take it topics go off-topic quite a bit in Hexus then.
(Been a while since I've been here regularly)
