I have a voodoo3 3500 TV card and it had no probs running games like Army operations and battlefield 1942. I only really upgraded from it because the first versions of Army operations had major probs with voodoo cards as they were not supporting them
But it is a great card. Too bad there are no official drivers for them for XP. As I cant use the Tv tuner on my card with XP
Managed to get the Tv in and out working though with some voodoo files drivers
I am currently using it as a kind of media PC to watch films on my TV, and to use the net when I am too lazy to get up in the morning lol . I alos have a Voodoo3 3000, which I just use as a card in my test/ spare rig

Somewhat pointless if you actually were running it on that sort of a system though

considering sum people HATE onboard video and they cant afford to buy a new card... they can slip an old V3 2500TV in and use that AND watch TV.

I have a Voodoo 3 2000 16Mb PCI flashed into a V3 3000 - it rocks on.

If only it supported modern versions of OpenGL and could actually handle DX7+ decently.

Still, 3dfx were great - but Nvidia, back then at least, were cleverer.
