    Removing previous XP installation

    Hi

I've just repartitioned my c:\ drive, and installed a new copy of xp onto the new partition. Windows has given it a drive letter of K:\. How do I go about removing my old installation of XP from the boot order? I'm assuming that deleting the windows, and program files folders will get rid of some of it. I also need to get windows to see my c:\ drive as just a data drive, rather than a system drive, as I'd like to change it's letter.

    Thanks

Thanks. I removed the old XP from the boot order.

I just need to change the drive letters now. Is there any way to do it? Windows won't let me.

    Can you format the drive?

If you right click my computer and select manage, then select storage manager - is the option to change the drive letter available oafter right clivking the drive or is it greyed out?
