abit av8 error code help

i recently built a pc and when i come to turn the pc on it halts on the hardware id screen and i get a [checksum error defaults loaded] and i cannot access the bios screen. also the led post code on the mother board says 7.f plus there is a continous beep coming form the speaker. I havnt got a clue whats causing this. Ive looked in the manual and the web and they say 7.f code is [Switch back to text mode if full screen logo is supported-If errors occur, report errors & wait for keys-If no errors occur or F1 key is pressed to continue: Clear EPA or customization logo].


Does anybody know how to solve this problem please?

thanks alot for your help but i took the board to a pc shop for a diagnostics test and they told me the board was faulty thanks anyway
