Missing system speaker- Antex P180?

Hi guys,
can anyone verify whether the Antec P80 case comes with a system speaker for diagnosing problems? I cannot seem to find one if one is included with the case, and I need to diagnose a no display problem on a new rig I built last night

I dont beleive it does, do you not have a two pin mini speaker at all?

Cheers for the reply, just wanted to confirm I was looking for something that didn't exist

My motherboard (Asus P5B Deluxe Wifi) has a 4 pin speaker, so am I correct in saying a 4 pin system speaker can be bought in a shop?

hmm, doubt it but If you go to some small back street retailer they may have couple floating around and give you one for free.

well that's rather stupid, would have thought you'd be provided with a system speaker together with the case

I'm gonna have a go at a place nearby and see if they have any

nope not stupid at all, you should have been provided a mini speaker with your motherboard.

just checked if I got one with the mainboard- nope.

The mainboard was purchased from Scan, shouldn't I just request for the missing mini speaker?

depends on what it says in the contents section of the manual.

grr I think Asus are coverered on this.

I have all of those above, no mention of system speaker. Looks like I'm off to the shop. Can another user who has a P5B Deluxe Wifi (P695 chipset) confirm that there was no mini speaker with the board?

I've got hold of a system speaker after a visit to Computer Orbit

Also having a motherboard problem but this should be fixed pending checking something. I'll post about this if I get the problem fixed, as I imagine some other Asus P5B users are in the same boat as me.

Mine's the non-wifi, but it doesn't have a mini-speaker either. No mention of one.

Not missed the thing at all, beeps are irritating.

I was going to say, I've got a speaker in the cupboard that can be dragged out for testing, but I wouldn't install it as a permanent feature
