Exclamation No signal from graphics card

I got my new monster machine yesterday, and my monitor displays nothing when booting, doesn't seem like a mobo issue to me so i'm a bit baffled. I was thinking that I may have to set the pci express slot as default in the bios, but that's nigh on impossible without a display.

I'm sure one of you lovely people will be able to help me out on this

Apart from the 3 obvious things i.e. faulty card, not seated correctly, cable not fitted correctly.

The one I would check is the card itself to see if is in fact seated properly, good luck

Yep, tried reseating it and I tried plugging it into another monitor with a different cable. Apparently the seating's a pain to get right so I might try a few more times i'm just hoping an rma isn't in order.

The monitor's displaying "check signal cable" it doesn't do this all the time. Possibly getting a weak signal?

that is possible. If it was getting nothing at all it would just say check the cable..but is it on when it doesnt say that or is it just in stand by?

Sounds like it could be buggered though. Hope you get it sorted.

Only when it's on/connected, seems to relate to the seating of the card, but the difference seems to be that the monitor can see it's connected to something.
