I have come across a motherboard (with processor) amongst all my pc 'junk'. I have looked to try and find some indentifying marks but there are none. All I can find is 'Tested to comply with fcc standards - for home or office use' on the circuit side. In one corner it says rev 7.1 with a '4' on a small white sticker below it. On opposite sides of the cpu holder are two long white stickers both of which simply say XP. The other side has 'PAO SHEN' and 'E206922 PS-1' on it. I have surfed looking for info on this and it appears to be a problem other people have had. However any motherboards they have mentioned do not appear to be the same as mine.
The board has an AMD cpu on it (dont know which one yet- not powered it up), 2 memory slots, the usual connections including a game port, usb and network. Has 2 pci slots 1 agp and 1 riser card slot. There are 2 ide connectors one of which is coloured red. The bios chip says '686 amibios 1999 BL60 6224'.
Anyone got any idea??????
