I thinking of transfering one of my domains from Doteasy to Go Daddy. I was quite happy paying $12 for a domain that ended up seeing limited use, but I can't justify the $19.99 renewal fee they are asking. Okay, truth to be said, with the exchange rate, the price probably hasn't changed that much - but it doesn't change the fact that Go Daddy will accept $12

I've got two questions:

1. Has anyone successfully transfered a .eu domain name? I just noticed the fine prints saying that failed .eu domain transfers may not be refunded

2. Go Daddy gives the option to transfer nameservers to their own, or keep the existing one. What is this all about?
