Finally Got Vista - Any Pitfalls?

I finally received my Vista Home Premium upgrade DVD. I've been advised that I'll need to re-load all my software such as my Creative Studio speaker system, Microsoft Office etc but are there other pitfalls in store? Also takes longer than I thought. How difficult? Any advice welcome re Vista experiences. Note my Mesh PC is Vista compatible.

You will only get minimum support (2.1) from your sound card at the moment if its an X-fi, but Creative are working on drivers for them.

    See: http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=109236

Everything else should be pretty straight forward.
If your "my system" is correct - it doesn't say if your modem is USB or Ethernet. If its USB check there are, and download the drivers for it before hand, so you can get on the net

Indeed............but you can't guarantee if you buy something today the drivers in the box will work properly.

My x1950 had a small problem (bought on June 4th) HUH! WTF!.......... but installed the latest driver from the web (May 30th) and the problem has gone.

If you have a Printer, such as HP, check their Drivers as well.
