Hard Drive Troubles Again!

Basically got a new hard drive to replace the one that died on me, at the same time, I thought I might as well get vista, so Im now back to 2 hard drives, a raptor, and a 250gb western digital.

Ive just installed vista and put it on vista etc, but i cant seem to get onto my other hard drive, it shows up in the bios, and is there is the device manager, and says its working correctly etc, but when I go into my comp, its no where to be seen!

Any advice?

Is the drive active/online in Computer Management?

If not right click and set it to active/online.

If you can't do that without formating it, try here, one of the programs Gonzo mentioned fixed my HDD problem...seems alot of people are losing HDDs lately.

You may need to set the hard drives "online":

Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management

Do they show up in there? Are they "online"?

it is active online etc, but just reformatted it, and it seems to have done the trick!
