    Exclamation Intel RAID Verification

I just stopped TAT, and my PC BSOD'd and instantly rebooted, when it came back on, the intel Matrix program said there were verificaiton errors on my array.

It's going to take another 7 hours to repair the array, so far it has found & repaired 65535 Verification errors.

Is this normal? Every time my PC crashes it's going to take 7 or 8 hours to repair the array? (2* 320GB drives)

My raid0 array is shown as healthy

Does this sound like one of the HDDs is broken?

edit: also, can i run Seagate Sea tools while the drives are in RAID? or do i need to pull them out and boot from a different drive?

edit2: it seems the software sucks at estimating time remaining, or maybe 3 hours just passed in 10 mins, i guesstimate it will take about 4 hours +

The fact that the controller did this is a good thing. and yes most software sucks when guessing time. if the array was broken it would tell you. the controller software reads the smart data from the disk. smart is usually a good indication of when a disk is going to fail. i think all seatools will do it check the smart data itself.usually the Intel tools will tell you if there is gong to be a problem.i would not worry about it as of yet
