with regards to DVD video, PG stands for 'program group'.
It's normally encoded in to the VOB files and is used to identify chapters within the video file.
Are you dealing with VOB files ? or mpeg video streams ?
Sounds like a mastering problem to me...
Hi,
Thanks for your response, but what does VOB mean?
Regards,
Rob.
VOB is a file extension, it stands for Video OBject.
When you make a DVD, the program (in your case DVDit) will take the media you are using, from your camera or what ever your source is, and will convert the files to VOB format.
VOB is a complex thing, it includes video information, audio information, chapter mark information and other DVD info and settings, it then 'multiplexes' all these individual things in to a single Video OBject file.
PG's. or program groups, are part of the structure of a multiplexed VOB file....
