aero's gone???

I may be missing something stupid here but aero has seemed to have dissapeared after i updated my gfx drivers to 162.22 earlier.

I checked ms website and it said that you may ned to re-update the calculation computer score which i noticed was lost so i re-calculated it but i still cant get it to use aero. I am doing it the normal way:

Start>controll panel>appearance&personalisation>Personalisation>window colour and appearance

And it opens up the classic style menu not the one that has different coloured squares:



then selecting windows aero from the colour schemes but nothing happens, i then try it again but when im on the theme/colour scemes selecting menu vista basic is highlighted again suggesting to be that it wont select aero.


Any ideas?

Out of interest, what was wrong and how did you fix it?

i dont actually no it just decided to work this morning, mustve just been restart after last night configured something, although this is after the original gfx install restart and restart after doing the computer score

It did this on my laptop. That uses the 945 mobile graphics driver and it was a reinstall of that that sorted it I think
