How to connect Wii to DVI monitor??

    Hi everyone.
I'm about to get a Nintendo Wii, but first need to find out if I can hook it up to my Daewoo W9ZQ monitor with dvi support.
What do you think would be the best cable to get in order to hook the Wii up to my monitor?

I think your best bet would be to get an official Wii Component cable, and then use a Component -> VGA adaptor - like... errrr... this one? - to hook up to your monitor. I think that cable is OK. Someone please confirm or correct me.

(Just to clarify, RGB in that quote refers to RGB VGA, not RGB Scart)

No way to do it officially. Also, remember you'll need to hook up separate speakers to the Wii. Good luck!

Oh... slightly off-topic, but Wiiing is more of a front-room, big TV, more-than-one-person type console. I'd recommend against hooking it up to a monitor. You can probably pick up a second-hand 28-32" CRT TV for £70 or less if you check your local classifieds.

I want to take advantage of the DVi socket on my monitor though, and my room is plenty big enough hehe
