    Posting attachements

Often a picture is wirth a thousand words! The FAQ says that attachements can be posted with the manage attachements button. I don't have that option, and my profile says that I cannot post attachements. How can I change that? (no settings that I can see in the user CP)

    Re: Posting attachements

That must be an old entry in the FAQ. Attachements are dissabled for the board.

    Re: Posting attachements

upload them to a free image host like imageshack or your own FTP if you have one and link to them here with img tags wrapped round them

    Re: Posting attachements

Upload the pic to a place like imageshack.us and it'll give you the code to paste into your reply.
Since different boards use different tags, it gives you a few choices, and TBH I can never remember which is the right one (heh), so check that it came out right by previewing the post first.
