    Grey colour tv out single.

Ok bit of strange one here lads, i had my comp with tv out in colour on my BFG 8800 GTS 640mb using the 163.71 drivers however when Crysis demo was released i had to update to some beta drivers im using 169.04 drivers now, but my tv out is now black and white without any colour i had selected all the correct settings in the control panel but with no luck everything seems to be b/w. I unstalled the beta drivers and went back to the 163.71 drivers but still i get b/w tv out.

Any ideas or anyone else having sim problems???

how is it hooked up to the TV? via s-video, composite, component, or some sort of scart lead?

    How about NTSC vs PAL?

I know that PAL only TVs will display an NTSC picture as black and white. Although you usually have frequency problems too (60Hz vs 50Hz). But i guess if your TV supports PAL-60 it would be able to cope with that part of it.

Worth checking to make sure though.

I'd second the NTSC/PAL comment... I converted my xbox (1) to NTSC so I could run @ 480p/720p/1080i through component, which was fine... but plugging it into the tv via composite resulted in a black and white picture...

I'm not sure if the localised nvidia drivers (ie nvidia_xx.xx_international_whql.exe) have PAL/NTSC flags set, or whether it is still an option in their control panel?

[e!] Looks like its in the nvidia control panel (im running 169.01 beta drivers):
