1 post made, 3 emails drop into my inbox within 13 seconds, i often get 2 or 3 emails per thread for a single reply, doesnt happen on my clans site nor my works site and they both use VB forums, so i think there may be an issue that needs looking into ?

I think you need to alter your Default Thread Subscription Mode. Got to User CP -> Edit Options, and set the Default Thread Subscription Mode to "No email notification". Make sure to click Save Changes at the bottom of the page afterwards.

there should be no issue with instant email reply, but the server is sending it out more than once now and again.

as i stated, 1 person replys to a thread and i get a duplicate email containing the exact same info often up to 3 times.

i should point out i own a vb licence and have been administrating that and another board for quite a while, so i am aware of the post subscription options before anyone else states the obvious
