Hey guys, I've found a new update for my Graphics Card:
Sapphire X1550
Update:
Catalyst Software Suite (32 bit) English Only (V7.12)
My friend told me that if the driver isn't secure I'll have to reinstall my OS, is this true and also...have any of you used this before, if so what feedback can you give me.

reinstall the os when updating the driver??? i think he has had you, it should be good so long as you get it direct from ati.
This is the page you need to visit for Ati driver updates. Ati usually update their drivers once a month.
Drivers & Software Select OS > Radeon > X1550

If it is a driver, then Vista might kick up a bit if iyt hasn't been digitally signed (but I think you can overcome that). If it is firmware, the OS shouldn't care one way or another.
