Oddly enough I have having the SAME problem, mine started yesterday morning after a power outage, I have the SAME CPU and IDENTICAL memory -- how strange is that? Anyway, did you determine that BOTH sticks of ram went bad, or was it just one or the other?
W/ one of my sticks I get 3 beeps but no display, with the other one I get no beeps and no display. With both I get no beeps and no display.. I have no idea whats going on here -- does this sound like a memory problem, psu problem or something else?

No in my case both sticks died. However there are a few known issues with Ballistix and my Asus P5E board so it could have been a number of things.
It's hard to say what might be wrong with your system at this point. If you have access to another set of memory I would try that first. If that doesn't work it's a matter of swapping parts in and out to see what works.
I am no expert but I would guess that the PSU is OK as things are turning on and the board should be fine as your hearing the beeps. Also a flick through the board manual to see what the beeps mean could provide some more info.
Hope this helps and good luck.
