Oooohh yeah /me wants one.
/me wants one from SCAN
After liasing with my manager who's been dealing with the Ageia physx chips we anticipate the cards to be freely available in May
Interesting!
(I'd be interested to know if any graphics, modelling or video software could use this?)
Sweet. Any ideas on pricing?Originally Posted by Lee @ SCAN

The new UT is supposed to be able to use it.
physx.ageia.com list of titles supporting, and list of developers developing
will most likely be 200-300 but thats just a ball park figure
Alienware are giving an upgrade option at just over £200, so i agree with jonny.

lol, i said to my parents I wasn't going to get anymore hardware stuff... this is another reason for me to splash out lol
nvidia SLI, and crossfire cards should be able to do physics too,
the only problem is why do you want to spend 400 pounds on a gfx that does physics instead of buying agea one.
not to forget heat/noise/power consumption high end gfx will add to your system
Looking interesting but I'll wait and see if any titles I'm intrerested in will support it first.
I can see a problem arising now folks
What if you have an SLI setup and an X-FI soundcard installed in the PC ?
99.99% of motherboards for SLI only have 1 free PCI available when using decent cards (due to the cooler sizes blocking other PCI slots) and whats the end-user going to do, select an ageia physx card or an X-Fi soundcard depending on what they want to do?
I can see some highend gamers (like myself) who use SLI get a little miffed at this slight issue.
