    Vista Issue

    Hello,

Got a small problem in Vista with delelting folders/files.

I've moved my F@H directory onto the external HD and where i've gone to delete the previous folder it gives me the error "You need permission to perform this action"

    Anyone?

    Thanks,

    Iain

UAC should prompt you for either permission or credentials to delete files from certain locations - do you get a UAC prompt?

    No,

    Don't get the UAC prompt..

Well i do, click continue and then that's when it asks me for permission..

I'll whack up a screenshot in a bit.

    EDIT:

I get this prompt after clicking delete...

After this the UAC comes up "Click Continue" thingy.. and after clicking continue i get this..

Interesting... what's the path to the folder you're trying to remove? Do you have permissions on that folder?

Thats nothing to do with Vista.
You are still using the program in the background somewhere so you cant delete it.
