    Xeon X5482 Unlocked?

Is the Xeon X5482 unlocked like the Core 2 Quad Extreme QX9775?
I was thinking of building a Skulltrail system and the Xeon is a lot cheaper from Scan, but if its multiplier locked its going to be a lot harder to clock. Does anyone know of any suppliers better/cheaper than Scan. Scan are useful to me as I can get to them in my lunch hour.

    Thanks

doesn't skulltrail HAVE to use the QX9775 for some reson?

and why would you be needing so much power? nehalem will be out in not so long, and obsolete any skulltrail system...
