PC Won't Boot After Upgrade

Hey guys,
Upgraded my cpu cooler today from an artic freezer 7 to the tuniq tower 120. Installed everything fine, re inserted all of the components such as the graphics card ect... Started the pc, it posted fine except it told me that their was no cpu fan but this was just because i plugged it into the psu directly. I turned off the message about no cpu fan in the bios and restarted the pc. Now what happens is all of my hard drives are detected but after posting there is just a flashing cursor in the top left of the screen. And then after a while disk boot failure message. Now i never touched any of the hard drives so i doubt they have become damaged or corrupted. I am dual booting xp and vista from two different hard disks in case this may be a problem. My mother board is the striker extreme. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'd try booting it with the cpu fan plugged into the mobo first of all to make sure that it can boot successfully.

If it does there may be other bios settings that need to be changed beyond the cpu fan alert message for it to boot happily. Poss some of the fan speed management settings?

Change the boot order of your hard drives in the bios.

Try the above, and then connect the Tuniq to the mobo and then use the speed controler that comes with it.
Thats what i have done with mine and everything is ok.

I'd go with that, it's quite possible that the boot order's been changed either in the BIOS or by physically reattaching the drive to different SATA ports and it's now trying to boot off the wrong one.
