help with q6600 and what motherboard

ive got myself a quad and installed it into my P5N E-SLI and thats where the problems started when i booted up i couldnt get no internet it said no connectivity this went on for ages i adjusted some setting and in the end couldnt get it to boot with the quad in at all i had upgraded to the 901 bios which is the latest from 608 which may have been alright

Ive put this down to compatibility so now i need a new motherboard the p5 has been a pain from start to finnish first with ram now with this i need someone to give me a good motherboard to get im looking at the trusty Abit IP PRO or the ASUS P5K wifi premium the black pearl edtion i am unsure of any other good reilable motherboard ive looked at the new X48 chipset but dont know anyone who as one can someone help.

theres lots of people around these parts that swear by the abit dark raider and the're all using q6600. i have no experiecne of the board tho, just though id let you know what everyone else seems to plump for
