    DVD/CD playing too fast

    Hi everyone ... I,m hopeing someone can shed some light on a problem I,m having.
    Since installing all my hardware into a new case my DVD/CD plys fast.
    I know its something I,ve got wrong but am at a loos as to what ?

    AMD FX 55 ...MSI K8N neo motherboard...crucial ballistic memory

    Windows XP pro

    Everything else seems to work ok and i left it on all night to test it

    so your using media player and both CDs and DVD are playing fast? Do get speeded up sound as well?

    Have a look at...

    Change Music or Video Playback Speed

    Yes audio and video are speeded up ..... I,m useing media player 11
    Tried the speedt setting on media player 11 and it wont let me change speeds

    Ok ... I removed the k-Lite codecs but it still plays too fast

    try this

    Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices
    Volume tab > (Speaker settings area) > click the Advanced button
    In the Advanced Audio Properties dialog box > click the Performance tab
    Adjust the Hardware acceleration slider control towards ‘None’
