I've got a Toshiba Equium M50 laptop that has a faulty CPU fan. I've found a replacement on Ebay but need to remove the old one before I can consider purchasing the replacement.
I've removed all components (battery, memory, drives, etc) and removed all F6 & F8 screws but there is something stopping the base from parting from the mid section & screen. There must be a hidden screw or something I've missed. The solid area is between the memory modules and the battery connector.
Any ideas?
