Vista Device Manager not working

If I right click on my computer and select properties then select device manager nothing happens, all the other options work.

Are you getting a UAC prompt? If not what happens if you ctrl+alt+del then click cancel?

I had this bug with RC2, but haven't seen it since.

don`t get uac prompt ctrl/alt/del gives normal operation cancel does just that still dont work. I can get into device manager but its a long way round.

Not a solution to the problem you're experiencing, but what about right-clicking My Computer and selecting Manage? Ought to be able to access Device Manager that way just as quickly as before.

that works and also via control panel, just have to live with that got so use to doing it with the right click on my computer. Thanks
