Nero 7 and Vista not working

Hi guys.
I recently bought a DVD writer about a month ago, and work has been extremely busy so I have only had time to install OEM Nero which came with my dvd writer. I'm currently running Vista Ultimate 32 bit, and Nero installed fine. However, when I actually open Nero, I get a message saying it has stopped working. Does anyone have any ideas?

Its an older version of Nero you have. There is a version that is Vista compatible, however, I don't know if you will have to pay or if you can just simply upgrade it. Goto the website. Off the top of my head I think its http://www.nero.com/.

Whats your drive like - what do the labels that you can print on it look like?
