    Blown PSU Help

Well my PSU blew in my shuttle so brought it down to the local computer shop to fix and tell me if anything else had blew. After constantly harassing them and them insisting on a new PSU being ordered in and they should be expecting it anytime now in their deliveries 6 weeks later they tell me that they cannot get this part and i can either move everything into a desktop case or buy a whole new shuttle case which would mean buying a new mobo aswell.
I just decided to take it home and try getting one myself before bringing it back.
    It's a 350w shuttle PSU, model no : pc4313502

Does anyone know where i could purchase one? / Tell me what sort of PSU i need whether it is ATX or micro ATX, etc...

    Cheers!

    Re: Blown PSU Help

Bought it second hand. The shuttle itself is around 3years old i'd guess so would be no warranty left on it or would they still take it back? Could get onto the guy i bought it off and see if he has any sort of receipt for it?

    Re: Blown PSU Help

Even so.. if you want the part surely they would be the first port of call for getting a new one. I have never dealt with shuttle before but it's who I would be in touch with.

It seems strange that ONLY this one PSU will work in it? And after searching around it looks like i'd get it no cheaper than a whopping £120inc p&p so looks like a new case + PSU looks the better option....

    Re: Blown PSU Help

£120 for PSU that's obviously got quite a low life expectancy.. think a lot of themselves don't they.

Could you use the RAM, CPU etc.. with a new case motherboard and PSU?
