    OC'ing temperatures on rendering

    Hey guys,

I was just wondering, i have OC'd my a6600 to 3400Mhz at the moment running at 425x8 with the ram at 5-5-5-15 running at 850Mhz on a 1:1 ratio.

If i was to leave this on for over 100hrs while it renders a 3D scene, wud that damage my CPU...which would be running at a constant 59*c while preparing the render to 69*c while actually making the render.

Thanks in advance for your help

69 is on the warm side, but its within the limits of the chip.

It will throttle before the chip burns itself out if thats what you're worried about
You can take the heatsink off the processor while underload and you wont kill it - although I don't recommend it
I regularly leave my system on for days rendering too. What are you rendering mate?

Should be absolutely fine. If you're worried about the temps maybe decrease the overclock a bit for the render?
