    Antec Three Hundred issues

I just purchased an Antec Three hundred case from Scan which I would like to thank Scan for there quality service and very quick delivery but the case has a few issues

    1. Three Hundred 5.25" to 3.5" adapter not one in the box and can't find any place which sells them can any one help me out how to get one.

    2. The internal cables which are for the front panel audio and usb are to short and am having same issue as above can't find a way or place that sells even extensions for them.

All round it is a good case but design wise it should of looked at its bigger brother the 1200 and had cable management holes even if it was only at the top and bottom and whats up with not even having support for 3.5 out of the box?

    Re: Antec Three Hundred issues

I knew it didn't come with the 5.25 to 3.5 at the beginning but Antec them selves don't even sell it to UK people.

My solution I am think of is cutting a hole in one of the drive covers then use long screws to screw in 3.5 drive.

I had a look at a few of them but it's for a card reader and didn't think one of them would be the right fit but thanks for trying.

    Re: Antec Three Hundred issues

I thought I would post an update on what's going on.

I contacted Antec Europe again about sourcing one and they told me it would cost 21 euros shipped which I find to be a very insulting price that's almost half the price of the case so I wont be taking up there offer but I thought this might be useful to some people who are thinking of buying this case.

If any one has any ideas how to fit in a card reader or fan controller then could they post up the ideas my long screw idea don't look like it will be very stable.

That's pretty shocking to be honest, I've always had really good service from Antec support and they've even sent me things like replacement fans FOC.

I read at few places they was good but it looks like they have changed there attitude I have contacted the American support few times and they seem very picky and try to pass it on to Europe Antec who seem to want to charge for everything or pass it on to retailer.

I also got an Antec 1200 which was missing the accessories box which I tried going to ebuyer who really didn't care and kept saying they will have to pass it on to Antec if the manager gives it the go a head this was 2 weeks ago and nothing so contacted American Antec about it they quizzed me and then said they will send the missing bits out priority USP but 10 days gone and still nothing.

When I have to deal with this sort of stuff it shows how great Corsair are and seem to go out of there way to make people happy.

    Re: Antec Three Hundred issues

I have the 300 but the cables are fine for me, might be the positioning of ur mobo?? try maplin and see if they sell any extensions or some other places,

and yeh the 3.5inch is abit of an arse, but i love the case, cant fault it for the price.

    Re: Antec Three Hundred issues

I thought the price of the case was good at first but really its not because once you pay for the extras it comes to the same if not more then the Antec 900.

Motherboard is seated fine it's a Asus p5q-e and the cables do reach but it means cutting across the board.

I checked my local Maplins they don't do internal extension.

I still havn't received my goods from Antec yet and does anyone know which batch number had the iffy fans in them?

Similar to what Alphatune suggested, but a slightly different part (and legendary service!)
