    TV to stereo speakers...

The sound quality provided by the speakers built into my folks' TV is starting to leave a lot to be desired, so I'm thinking of hooking up a basic 2.0/2.1 PC kit.

The TV has L-R (audio) RCA outputs, but I can't for the life of me find a male RCA -to- female 3.5mm stereo jack adapter. Am I completely off course with my logic here?

    Thanks as always peeps.

Would be very surprised if Maplin don't sell them.

    Alternatively:
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?...31700&doy=30m3
    and
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?...34619&doy=30m3

    Will do the trick

These are very, very rare. When I wanted to connect my SqueezeBox to a set of JBL Soundsticks I ended up doing exactly the same as what Agent suggested.

I have since seen a twin phono to female 3.5, but i think it was from a US online store, can't for the life of me remember exactly where though.

Its easy enough to make one if you can be bothered, but the parts will probably cost more than the premade stuff above
