Returning a digital download game...?

Hi all

Here's the thing. I bought a copy of World of Warcraft: Wrath of The Lich King from Play.com
I opened the box, went to my account management, clicked the giant "UPGRADE ACCOUNT" button (thinking I could input my CD key there), put my credit card details in (my account was inactive until this point) and hey presto...........I managed to buy ANOTHER copy of WOTLK. The site wasn't at all clear that I was buying a game and at no point did it indicate a price or anything.

Question is, can I return the one I bought from the Blizzard website? What are my consumer rights there?

you could try selling one of the copies second hand

I called Blizzard's billing support. The lady on the phone said that as the upgrade hadn't yet been accepted she would put through an upgrade refusal blah blah (I don't know what she was talking about tbh lol) and that I would be refunded. Yay
