    Video - System Hangs

    Hello everyone -

My Shuttle Box hangs as soon as I try to watch a video (mpeg file in the hard disk or DVD using the machine's DVD player). Watching a clip on uTube or the news on bbc is not a problem.

I've tried loading videos using Windows Media Player, QuickTime and DiXPlayer; the machine hangs regardless.

I have a 3D Fuzion graphics card that worked fine for quite some time.

    Any advice is much appreciated.

Any chance you could post some more details on your hardware and OS?

A stab in the dark is whether the decoding is done CPU or GPU side and whether any related drivers/codecs need repairing/updating.

Sleepyhead - thank you for your suggestion. The video card drivers needed updating. The machine now seems to work fine. Thank you again.
