Issue with iPod not synchronising with iTunes

I've had a google and nothing I've found seemes to have helped.

My issue is that ever since I upgraded to Vista, iTunes hasn't recognised my iPod, it doesn't show up in iTunes when I plud it in. However, upon going to Computer, it shows up as a camera. So, does anyone know how I can make iTunes recognise my poor iPod again?

I presume you have tried to to reset (reboot) the iPod?

have you another computer with iTunes to test?

which version of the iPod do you have?

Englander - I think this happened to me before. I think I fixed it by re-installing iTunes

I've tried rebooting and reinstalling iTunes/my iPod. It's a first gen iPod Touch.

I'll check it on another PC this afternoon
