I've recently had my Lenovo Y410 laptop downgraded from XP to Vista and now I'm experiencing problems with its wireless network connection, one thing which I find very puzzling as it has never malfunctioned since, and besides my wireless adaptor is also in tiptop condition, otherwise I wouldn't be able to connect to my home wireless Internet over my Linux operating system (which I have double-booted into the very same computer), which I actually do often. However, each time I attempt to access the Internet (or connect to my home wifi network, to do the least), I keep receiving this error message that says "Error connecting to the internet. Please make sure wireless network is in range," despite the fact that it is indeed capable of seeking my network; it just doesn't connect at all. Anyone got an idea on how I might be able to solve this? Do take note that my drivers are complete; I have downloaded and double-checked them from the Lenovo resource site. To those who might be able to help me, thank you very much in advance. You see, this matter is urgent, as I will be needing my (XP) laptop immediately for purposes that concern work and studies. Once again, many thanks.
(Pardon me if it's sloppily written and is obviously lacking in detail; I am confident you will be able to understand that I'm in quite a hurry right now and can't afford to squander a few more seconds. I promise, I won't arrive at this forum like this ever again! )
