Hi, this point has been bugging me, so if anybody knows the answer, I'd be much oblidged.

If you run a Core I7 on a X58 board, designed with a 8 pin EPS and only use a 4 pin 12v cpu connector, what are the risks?
Intel spec calls for a 4 pin 12v cpu connector. However, if you want to overclock, is a 8 Pin EPS connector essential?
