    Movie Thumbnails

Recently all of my movies dont have any thumbnails, all they show is the blank yellow Nero CD. The problem occured when I unistalled Nero 7 "ultra edition", then when I reinstalled it I still didnt have any thumbnails. I've tried searching but I get nothing. The thumbnails used to be just the first frame of video but it made it alot easier to find the one I was looking for.

On a different note but at the same time, I now cant play videos through a linked file (eg www.abcde.com/abcde.mpg). Quicktime still works on certain files but on wmvs and stuff I get nothing, Windows Media Player used to auto boot and buffer, then play the files but this doesnt happen anymore

    Cheers
