this pc is dead and i can;t figure it out, i got no bleeps and nothing comes on the screen , but some how the power light on the case is flashing, any idears ?

Anything in the mobo manual? But in the absence of that - I'd agree with Buff - look at the PSU.

nothing i can find, but dont have a spaire psu to try.

well the psu is only 350w, and it's runing an amd 2.5ghz, 1 gig ram, 150 gig hard drive, dvd rom and a ati x800, but i might go with a 520w. http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=27955

update, just5 tryed a 520w psu from another of my pc's and i still get the flashing power light, but i did not connect the extra 4 pin psu wire up, is this comeing down to dead cpu/mainbord ?

like it - although it could be a problem on one of the cards (or wiring) that is pulling down the PSU (tripping its overload protection.

Strip down the machine, remove everything except the CPU and see if it operates then (you will get error beeps because no RAM) then build it up bit by bit, checking as you add each component.

thanks, sorted, dead cpu, plus i found out that my old sempron was a 754 cpu as well
