Boot Error on Intel Mobo X48 - Seq FF, 03

Hi
I've started to assemble a PC, as below, and got a boot error on the [b]debug LED[/]

The sequence is FF then 03 then reboot then repeat

I've now taken it out the case and mounted it on the plastic base board provided with only mobo, cpu (+fan) and PSU

I get the same sequence of errors...

Any ideas...as I'm a little lost!

Looks like it was the motherboard no recognising the Q9550, old stock from ebuyer or a brand chip...

Anyone got an older Intel Core 2 Duo I could borrrow (for costs, charity donation, whatever :-) )

This is more for google house.
Solution is to update the BIOS

Dear Lain,
Thank you for supporting Foxconn products.
Your current BIOS version can't match up with your processor, you need to update BIOS to improve.
It is better if you have core 2 duo processor such as E6300 or E6550, or you could borrow one from your friend if possible in order to boot up the motherboard and then update the BIOS to 7A3F1P07 version.

if the above method doesn't help, please write an email to our local european RMA center to request reprogramme the BIOS chip for you;
