    Question N4100Pro Drive Set-up

I bought a N4100Pro Media Server/NAS for my photography business. This is my first experience with a NAS box and Raid array.
I have a WD Green 1.5 TB drive. Before I spend money for the rest of the drives to populate the NAS - a couple of questions.

The Manual says the box can accomodate 4 - 1TB drives. The compatability list shows drives as large as 2 TB.

What size drives should I buy to populate the NAS? 2 at 1.5 TB and 2 at 500 GB?, 4 at 1 TB? Can I install 4 1.5 TB drives?

isnt it each slots can take a max of 2TBs?

if that is the case then i think the 1.5TBs are more bang for the buck so I would go for 4 x 1.5

    Re: N4100Pro Drive Set-up

I would think that, too. But the manual says the box has a capacity of 4 drives at 1 TB. Total of $ TB. So far the limit does not to seem the drive size. It recognizes the 1 1.5 TB drive I currently have installed.

Received a response direct to Thecus. I can install 4 WD 1.5 TB drives in the NAS.
