Unhappy Abit AW9D-Max crash with quad Q6700

    Hi all,
I try to change CPU in my AW9D-Max MoBo with Intel Quad Q6700 (2.66). my problem is when I turn On the PC, it restart after some minutes, even under Linux. I try 15, 16 and 17 Bios version with no succes. I try to re-install the system but the PC restart during the installation. note that my MoBo works perfectly with my E6600 and also with E7400. I have no idea what I can do.
    Thank's !!

    what's your PSU?
Quads of course draw more power than duals (this also means that the PWM runs hotter so you may want to check your cooling there).
