I recently got some CD-R to store data on. I popped one into my computer and it said that it had 702/702 mb free. I then sent about 675 mb of pictures to the disc and wrote them onto the disc, the disc ejected, and I decided to put some more files on the disc. For some reason now, however, the disc says it's total size is 680mb and therefore it can only hold 5 mb more, instead of 27 mb, which is how much it would be with the original storage size. Why is this? When I write onto the disc does the maximum capacity change to 680mb, or was it always 680 mb? Will I be able to write a 690 mb home video onto the CD-R?
Thanks in advance,
Varmint
