    Partition USB drive under Win7

Got me self quite buffy usb flash drive and was thinking to make bootable partition with test software or windows installation image and another partition for files etc. I've seen a guide with flip removable bit option but that software doesnt seem to work under win7.
Can anyone suggest some options please ? Thanks

AFAIK you can't partition a USB flash drive the way you can a HDD. I think when you get software on the drive that does the 'partitioning' low-level so the computer sees two drives. Check the MFR's website for your drive to see if they offer any software for it but a lot of the time what it does is make an unsecured partition and a secure partition so you could use the secure one for data (just use an empty password or 1 letter if it allows it) and the non-secure one as the bootable one.

    Hi,

I've used one of the options from here: http://www.bootdisk.com/pendrive.htm and the specific one for Vista/Win 7 usually works for me.
