    quick psu compatibility question!

    hey folks!

ok so i'm about to purchase coolermaster storm scout along with coolermaster silent pro 700w, my question is, will this psu support my mobo (Asus P5rd1-vm) im 75% sure it should because the asus manual states 24 pin atx connection with 4 pin 12v connection which this psu has, I'm also going to be running 4 fans:

    x2:120mm
    x2:140mm

And maybe cathode lights if my mom lets me lol

I know i won't be using that much watts though the graphics card im getting states 400w minimum (XFX HD5450)

    appreciate any help thanks!!

Should be fine. Fans take very little power, and neither do cold cathode tubes. As for compatibility, a recent PSU of that power output will have the connectors to suit your mobo and graphics card.

However if you are getting the card, PSU and mobo from the same supplier, it is worth conforming with them - preferably in writing - that the items will work together. Then if they don't, you have a comeback against the selling company.

    thanks for your response mate

the graphics card is an xfx, mobo asus and psu coolermaster. The connectors supplied with the psu do match the ones on the board so yeah I think im good to go lol
