    Exclamation Intel Turbo Boost?

I have Intel i5 750 2.66Ghz with EVGA P55V motherboard. I checked and as far as I can tell both of these are compatible with Intel turbo boost technologies, but when I install I get an error message saying a compatible CPU is not detected.

    Any ideas?

Use CPU-Z and load the cores.

If the processor runs above 2.66GHZ then Turbo Boost is activated.

Also, just check in your BIOS that Turbo Boost is indeed enabled!

    Re: Intel Turbo Boost?

As far as I'm aware, there is no driver for Turbo Boost. After some searching I can only find references to some software which lets you see what Turbo Boost is doing. As long as it's enabled in BIOS it should be fine, as CAT-THE-FIFTH said, you can just check it's working with CPU-Z or something.
