auto + overclock = memory error

try upping the memory voltages and/or relaxing the timings

    Re: New Ram Checksum Error

Relax the timings on your ram as the above has said. I presume you're just upping the HT ref CLK. As you raise this you are also increasing the speed your ram is running and it looks like it can't cope. You may need to relax your CPU-NB and HT link too multis too.

    Re: New Ram Checksum Error

cheers fellas yes im just changing the fsb in bios ,
thing is though my old ram was 557mhz and my new ram is 667mhz , but the older ram would let me OC to 3.4ghz

    Google for-

    AMD_Dragon_AM3_AM2_Performance_Tuning_Guide. pdf

    Its the nuts.

Was it 533mhz btw? You can set your ram to that in the bios. I'm a bit lazy to work it out; whats your multiplyer and FSB at 3.4ghz?

that was with my old ram ,
    on the 533mhz

    Re: New Ram Checksum Error

I wouldn't use AOD and use easytune unstead if your board supports it. The non AOD bits are what you want.

    AOD is horrible.
